Man kills his children, then commits suicide

A man in Shanghai committed suicide after he allegedly injured his wife and killed his two children on Sunday, the Metro Express reported.

The man, 27, from Anhui province, lived in Chuansha, a town in the Pudong New Area, with his family.

On Sunday afternoon, the man injured his wife and then stabbed his 2-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son. Later the man committed suicide.

The two children were confirmed dead, and his 22-year-old wife is being treated in the hospital.

According to the landlord, quarrels between the man and his wife were often heard.

Police said the case was caused by family disputes and so far they are still investigating.
