Two HK riverboats collide

HONG KONG - Two riverboats collided at around 7 pm on Thursday near Hong Kong's Stanley, local media reported.

One boat sank after the collision, with 11 people plunging into the sea. Five have been saved while six remained missing so far.

The survivors were sent to Ruttonjee Hospital and Queen Mary Hospital for medical treatment.

Two fireboats and two skiffs were dispatched to the scene of the accident to search for the missing people.
