Seven men held over gang-rape in Guangdong
Seven men, who allegedly gang-raped a 17-year-old girl in Lianjiang, Guangdong province, in January have been caught.
Their capture was reported by China News Service, quoting police in Lianjiang.
The victim reportedly got to know a man surnamed Zhang through Weixin, a mobile phone app. She only met him once before being called by him to see a friend on Jan 24.
The victim met Zhang and the other man, who she did not know, in Anpu town before going to a village by motorcycle.
Police confirmed that 14 men were at the scene when she was raped by nine men. Two suspects are still at large.
