A school bus driver in Northeast China's Heilongjiang province has been detained by police on suspicion of regularly raping a 13-year-old girl over the past two years ago.
The driver, surnamed Liu, is accused of forcing the girl to stay in a hotel room where he raped her, most recently on the night of Nov 30.
He even called his friend surnamed Wang to the hotel and they sexually assaulted the girl together, according to a report of the Heilongjiang Morning News on Monday.
The girl, a middle school student of Sizhan township of Suihua city, said that Liu had raped her many times over the past two years ago when she was at primary school.
Most of the offences occurred in the school bus, the girl said, and the driver threatened to kill members of her family if she told others.
The girl's mother surnamed He, said her daughter cries every night and is afraid of meeting with strangers, as a result of the abuse.
The police detained the driver after her mother reported him to the police, but the driver's friend who is accused of jointly raping the girl, has not yet been arrested.
The police are still investigating the case.
