About 100 growing firms from Northwest China's Shaanxi province hope to boost their development by learning management techniques and getting investment from Hong Kong.
The Shaanxi provincial government promoted its growing enterprises in eight fields at the Shaanxi Growing Enterprises Investment and Financing Promotion Fair held in Hong Kong on Wednesday.
One of the objectives was to list the companies in Hong Kong to get investment and management experience.
The fields include electronics, energy, the chemical industry and tourism services.
At the fair, the Shaanxi provincial financial office and the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd signed a Strategic Cooperation Memorandum aiming to list Shaanxi's firms on the HKEx.
A number of cooperation agreements were also completed with the investment reaching over $3 billion.
