Shaanxi promotes investment projects in HK

Hi-tech development zones in Shaanxi province displayed investment and cooperation projects in Hong Kong to attract local investors.

The development zones from Xi'an, capital of the province, and other cities including Baoji, Yulin and Weinan promoted their key projects in areas such as energy, the chemical industry, machinery manufacturing and aerospace industries at the Shaanxi Province Development Zone - Hong Kong Cooperation and Development Seminar held in Hong Kong on Wednesday.

Hong Kong was an important trade partner in the province with 2,325 projects and $11.3 billion of investment by the end of 2011. In the first nine month of 2012, the trade volume between Shaanxi and Hong Kong had reached $703 million, more than in the whole year of 2011.
