Home prices continue to fall

BEIJING - Home prices in China fell for the sixth month in a row in February, as the government maintained its curbs on the property sector.
According to SouFun Holdings Ltd, the country’s largest real estate website, property prices nationwide fell 0.3 percent, the biggest drop since September 2011.
Prices dropped in 72 of the 100 cities tracked by the company, compared with 60 in January. The average price stood at 8,767 yuan per square meter, down 0.3 percent from the previous month.
