China's Sina Corporation reached an agreement with Chengdu Hi-tech Zone to set up its wireless application research and development (R&D) center.
The zone's management team said recently that Sina, considered as a leading mobile value-added services provider, will also start a wholly foreign-owned enterprise in the zone.
According to the agreement, the two facilities will be in charge of the R&D of the products and applications for Sina's mobile microblogging platform and mobile services.
