Premier Wen visits former Cambodian King

BEIJING - Premier Wen Jiabao visited former Cambodian King Norodom Sihanouk, his wife and Cambodia's King Norodom Sihamoni in Beijing on Friday to extend Lunar New Year greetings.
Wen also conveyed President Hu Jintao's greetings to them, and wished Sihanouk and his wife good health.
Wen spoke highly of their important contribution to boosting China-Cambodia friendship, adding the ever-lasting friendship between both countries had withstood tests of various kinds.
He said he believed China-Cambodia ties would move forward more vigorously with joint efforts from both sides.
Sihanouk and Sihamoni extended their New Year greetings to the Chinese people. They wished China greater prosperity and hoped Cambodia-China cooperation could progress further in the Year of the Dragon.
