BEIJING - China's former Railways Minister Liu Zhijun is still under disciplinary investigation nearly one year after being removed from office, an official with the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China said on Friday.
Liu was removed from post over alleged "severe violations of discipline" in February 2011. He was also held responsible for a high-speed train collision last July that killed 40 passengers and injured 172 others.
