Li returns to Beijing after DPRK, ROK visits

BEIJING - Vice-Premier Li Keqiang returned to Beijing on Thursday evening after a five-day visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the Republic of Korea (ROK).

During his three-day official goodwill visit to the DPRK from October 23 to 25, Li met with the DPRK's top leader Kim Jong-il, top legislator Kim Yong-nam and Premier Choe Yong-rim.

During his official visit to the ROK, Li held talks with ROK President Lee Myung-bak and Prime Minister Kim Hwang-sik respectively.

The ROK's Ambassador to China Lee Kyu-hyung and Chinese Ambassador to the ROK Zhang Xinsen saw Li's delegation off at the Seoul airport after his ROK trip concluded.
