URUMQI - Rescuers are trying to reach a three-year-old child trapped in the debris of a house torn down by a flash blast Saturday morning in Urumqi, capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The blast also left another two people injured, rescuers said. The injured have been sent hospital.
The blast ripping from the upper floor of the two-story residential house at about 10 a.m. toppled down the building and damaged neighboring houses.
The cause of the blast is under investigation.
