China, Germany to operate experiments on Shenzhou-8

JIUQUAN - A China manned space program spokesperson said here Monday that Chinese and German scientists are going to operate 17 space experiments on life science on the Chinese spacecraft Shenzhou-8.
The unmanned spacecraft Shenzhou-8 is scheduled to be launched at 5:58 am Tuesday and dock with China's first space lab module, Tiangong-1, spokeswoman Wu Ping said at a press briefing.
