Vice-Premier Li Keqiang attended a ceremony during which eight cross-border economic and trade agreements were signed.
The agreements included a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Commerce and Invest Hong Kong, a memorandum on cooperation on Zhuhai Airport, a syndicate loan between HSBC and Chinatex Corporation Limited, and a medical cooperation agreement between the Chinese University of Hong Kong and BGI, Shenzhen, among others.
The ceremony was also witnessed by Zhou Xiaochuan, the Governor of the People's Bank of China, Chen Deming, Commerce Minister, Zhang Ping, the Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, Huang Huahua, the Governor of Guangdong province, Donald Tsang, Hong Kong's Chief Executive, and other top officials from Hong Kong.
