Netizens have been moved by a micro blog about an old woman who makes a living by selling vegetables and fruits under an overpass in Beijing.
Zhou Ruiying, 85, goes to the spot every afternoon to sell vegetables and fruits. Her husband died of cancer three years ago and she now lives alone.
"My son works and lives with his family in the United States. In the past 30 years I have only seen him once, three years ago, when he came back to attend his father's funeral," Zhou said.
Her story has moved many netizens to offer Zhou money or help with her business.
