During the past six decades, under the leadership of the central government and assistance from across the nation, Tibet has undergone sweeping changes, in terms of economic development and social progress, they said.
Saying that Tibet today sits amid its best historical phase, the leaders stressed efforts to publicize the great achievements that Tibet has made since its peaceful liberation 60 years ago and to promote education on ethnic solidarity, they said.
The efforts should be made to inspire Tibet's residents of all ethnic groups, under the leadership of the CPC, to make greater achievements in pursuing the path of the socialism with Chinese characteristics, they said.
Featuring a display of 500 pictures and tables, enriched historical documents, and multimedia screen shows, the exhibition focuses on the remarkable achievements made in economic, political, cultural and social realms in Tibet during the past six decades.
The exhibition in Beijing ran from June 15 through July 8 and will be followed by an exhibition in Lhasa, capital of the Tibet autonomous region starting from later this month.
