BEIJING - News agencies from China, Japan and the Republic of Korea (ROK) will jointly provide multilingual information services during the upcoming leaders' meeting in Tokyo.

Xinhua News Agency, Kyodo News and Yonhap News Agency will jointly run a portal website to cover the trilateral summit in Chinese, English and Korean for the first time.

The website, the Press Pool Information Service, provides news alerts and reports on the summit as well as information about sideline bilateral talks and transcripts of press conferences.

Official transcripts and documents released by the governments of the three countries will also be available.

During their meeting from May 21 to 22, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan and ROK President Lee Myung-bak will hold in-depth discussions on cooperation between the countries and regional and international issues of common concern.
