Six dead in mine gas leak in SW China

KUNMING- Six workers were killed and one injured in a gas leak at a coal mine in southwest China's Yunnan Province Wednesday, local authorities said.

The accident occurred at 10:20 am at a coal mine run by Yunnan Dongyuan Luoping Coal Mining Co in Luoping county, Qujing city, the county publicity department said in a statement.

An investigation into the cause of accident is under investigation.
