Hu meets Clinton, Geithner after high-level talks

BEIJING - Chinese President Hu Jintao on Tuesday met with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

Their meeting took place at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, after the two-day second round of China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogues concluded.

As US President Barack Obama's special representatives, Hillary and Geithner led US delegations to the annual high-level talks, which were initiated by the presidents of the two countries in April 2009.
