Some become puppets for profiteers

Party chief of Kunming, capital of Yunnan province, said the city's high housing prices are a fallout of corruption, reprimanding corrupt officials for shielding illegitimate businessmen.

Qiu He said some public servants had become puppets and agents for profiteers in the real estate industry who wanted to maintain skyrocketing property prices.
