Hayley Dee Westenra
Hayley Dee Westenra, a young soprano from New Zealand, will perform at the Shanghai Grand Theatre. Westenra is from Christchurch, New Zealand, and is of Dutch and Irish heritage. The versatile singer and songwriter performs in diverse styles, such as classical, pop and Celtic, and is considered another crossover diva after Britain's Sarah Brightman. She's also a UNICEF ambassador.

Air Supply
The soft-rock band from Australia, Air Supply, made up of guitarist Graham Russell and singer-songwriter Russell Hitchcock, will perform in Shanghai. The duo was one of the few Western pop musicians introduced in China in the early 1990s, and many of their songs were adapted into Chinese.

Years in One Minute
Contemporary artist Hu Jieming presents his video and audio creations at a solo exhibition. "Based on classic modern and contemporary art work, my team has transformed them into video clips by means of improvising changes directly onto them," Hu said. "The absurdity reflected in these 1,100 one-minute videos imbues the images shown on the storage bags with a kind of weird timelessness, blurring visual memory and values to the maximum extent."

Paolo Sabbatini
Paolo Sabbatini, the current director of the Italian Culture Institute in Shanghai, will have an exhibition of his paintings for the first time, in a joint exhibition with Chinese artist Fang Fang. The exhibition will be a visual dialogue about the Expo between two artists from China and Italy.

Stage on Paper
An exhibition of poster design for performing arts is going on in Suzhou, following an international forum on the art of poster design. The exhibition has a special section for Chinese students' creations relating to Peking Opera, under the guidance of German designer Christof Gassner.
