A fleet of 13 old cars with 26 people traveled all the way to Shanghai on Oct 9 from Germany's Bremen.
The travel was aimed to celebrate the incoming Bremen Special Day of Expo 2010.
Heiner Heseler, Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs and Ports, Bremen, congratulated on the fleet members at the welcome ceremony.
The fleet included classic car brands such as Benz, Saab and Porsche. Ten of the 13 cars have been used for more than 20 years. The military green "old ford" mocking 1930s' Ford car is the oldest and the car owner bought it from a friend 6 years ago.
The fleet members included doctors and mechanics.
The fleet set out on Aug 18 from Bremen and during the 56-day journey, they traveled across Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and a large part of China before arriving in Shanghai.
