Concert Hall on Water
A new concert hall will open in suburban Zhujiajiao, thanks to Tan Dun, the Oscar-award winning composer and cultural ambassador of the Expo 2010 Shanghai. Combining the German Bauhaus concept with China's Ming Dynasty style, Tan has managed to turn an antique building to a concert hall. The opening concert promises to be a visual and audio extravaganza.
