Stage Vienna Piano Trio
The trio, made up of Matthias Gredler on cello, Stefan Mendl on piano and Wolfgang Redik on violin, is one of the most important ensembles at the Vienna Concert Hall. For almost 20 years, the Vienna Piano Trio has been performing regularly in virtually every major music center in Europe, the Americas, Australia and Asia. The trio was founded in 1988. Extensive work with various renowned musicians paved the way for the trio's international acclaim.

Cambridge choir
The Choir of Gonville and Caius College Cambridge has 100 years of history and is now comprised of both male and female undergraduates. The choir gives regular concerts in Cambridge as well as elsewhere in the UK, often in collaboration with a Baroque instrumental ensemble.

Accidental Death of an Anarchist
Theatrical director Meng Jinghui adapted Accidental Death of an Anarchist, a satirical play by Italian dramatist and actor Dario Fo, more than 10 years ago. The play is now recognized as representative of Meng's work and has been staged repeatedly in Shanghai.

Pictures of Shangri-La
Gong Xinhan, a journalist turned official in charge of media administration, led editors and photographers from China's top pictorial magazines on a trip to Shangri-La in Yunnan province last October. He selected 100 out of 500 pictures he took during the journey for the exhibition. His exhibition is being held in conjunction with orchid paintings by Chen Yinfu. While Gong's photos feature ethnic culture and exotic scenery, Chen's paintings remind people of the beauty in traditional Chinese culture.

Pang Maokun
Oil paintings by Pang Maokun will be exhibited. Dean of the oil painting department of the Sichuan Art Academy, Pang has kept low profile with his art. His recent work presents dramatic scenes as if on stage.

Contemporary Chinese Art
