Basel Symphony

The Basel Symphony Orchestra (Sinfonieorchester Basel) will hold a concert in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Sino-Swiss diplomatic relationships. Joined by one of the world's most renowned conductors, Mario Venzago, and violinist Mengla Huang, Chinese audiences can look forward to an exceptional experience.

Zhou Xuan

An original dance drama telling the life story of Zhou Xuan, the famous singer and movie actress, set in Shanghai in the 1940s. Royal Philharmonic

Nobuyoshi Araki

A solo exhibition by Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki comes to Shanghai. Araki is among the most controversial photographers in the world. To his critics, he is no more than a pornographer and a misogynist. To his supporters he is a radical and a revolutionary - a figure who has challenged not just artistic limits, but also social limits in post-war Japan.
