Health experts are reminding heart attack patients to avoid visiting crowded areas at the Expo site as both the temperature and visitor flow rises.

Those who suffer from coronary heart disease and hypertension should also take care and take medicine with them, the reminder said.

It is suggested that family members accompany them during the visit.

Visitor number exceeded 400,000 on June 3, Thursday, second only to last Saturday's figure of 503,600.

Among the visitors, about 155,000 were on group tours, accounting for about 37 percent of Thursday's visitor flow. Houtan gate received as many as 77,000 visitors, Changqing Road 65,000, and Shangnan Road and Gaoke Road W. 113,000 in total.

By 5pm Thursday, 81 performances had been staged, attracting about 84,500 visitors.

The Tunisia Pavilion and Libya Pavilion closed yesterday to fix air-conditioners and redecorate. The Brazil Pavilion didn't open because Thursday was its Pavilion Day.
