Australian fare

Apart from typical flavors from Australia, such as lamb and macadamia burgers and Aussie beef burgers, the Australia Pavilion's restaurant, Aussie Grill, has introduced two new dishes: crumbed fish and prawn combo with lemon-myrtle mayo, fries and lime, and grilled Aussie prime beef skewers, fragrant rice and fresh garden salad. The restaurant is located in Zone B.

Cantonese flavors

Hong Kong Maxim's Group, which acquired an area of about 2,000 square-meters in the Expo Garden, opened to diners recently. Hungry visitors can now savor the taste of milk tea, barbecued meat and dim sum, the most popular drink and dishes in Hong Kong. Other delicacies are pineapple buns and wonton noodles. The restaurant is located in Zone C.

Chile food week

Longemont Shanghai is hosting the Chile Food Week to celebrate the Chile Pavilion at Expo. Diners have the opportunity to taste dishes prepared by chef Pilar Rodriguez, who once worked at Ledoyen, a Michelin three-star restaurant in France. Food week will feature fresh fruits, vegetables and other delicious fare from Chile.

Salmon food festival

Helu Sushi, a famous Japanese chain restaurant with 26 stores in Shanghai, is offering the Norwegian Salmon Food Festival until June 20. Eight Norwegian salmon dishes, specially created by chefs at Helu Sushi for the food festival, are served Japanese style.

French treat

With its two restaurants nestled on the tree-lined Wulumuqi Road and in the Gubei area, Caf Montmartre offers a variety of authentic French cuisine.
