Japanese flavor
Standing side by side, two partner restaurants, Kagen and Haiku by Hatsune, are Shanghai institutions for modern Japanese cuisine, which is a lot cheaper in China than in Europe. Kagen serves teppanyaki prepared at the table on a hot iron griddle. Haiku by Hatsune is famous for its creative, fusion-inspired sushi rolls, which can also be ordered at the Kagen. These are best accompanied by Japanese Kirin beer or sake. Reservations are essential, even during the week.

A taste of Shanghai
The blend of traditional and modern Shanghai food is a powerful lunch and dinner magnet and the Lynn is always packed. With its contemporary yet cosy dcor, the Lynn serves stylishly presented dishes that are not as heavy and sweet as conventional Shanghai cuisine - from fish in light sauce to drunken chicken marinated in rice wine.

Chinese fusion
The menu is huge - and everything on it tastes wonderful. The Crystal Jade marries Cantonese and Shanghai specialties with a touch of Sichuan spiciness.
The throngs of diners sit at large round tables or at a long bar in the center of the room to savor Hong Kong-style dim sum, twice-boiled chicken soup, shrimp marinated in egg white and hot beef Sichuan-style.
