Garden series

Hu Yaqiang has been painting plants and blossoms for many years and has now put together about 100 of these paintings for exhibition. "From content to expressions, Hu Yaqiang's garden series is filed with the mysteriousness and poeticism only found in Oriental culture," said Xu Mangyao, also an artist. "They are painted for those who understand the essence of life and find greatness in a greenery."

Lu Zhenhua

Oil and watercolor paintings by the deceased artist Lu Zhenhua are on exhibition. Art critic He Zhenzhi said that Lu was "a fine example of mature Western oil painting skills combined with rich Chinese culture". The exhibition presents his versatility as an artist.

Garden of Eden

In his new series named Garden of Eden, artist Qian Gang has broken away from his usual refined, tranquil contours, present in his earlier graceful black and white painting series, and stepped into a new expression in which he is resplendent, bountiful and exuberant. In this new series, Qian Gang exhibits a liquid sensuality by combining symbols of masculine and feminine energy to create a sense of temptation and intertwined passion.

Art from Montral

The Contemporary Art Montral exhibition will be held in Shanghai Times Square. Antique furniture

The Shanghai Science and Technology Museum presents an aquatic exhibition, The Deep, introducing marine life from 4,000 meters below sea level. The exhibition includes 12 large-scale, 13 medium-scale, 18 small-scale biological specimens and 67 high-definition photos.
