Expo visitors have wondered about how to get a reservation ticket to the China Pavilion, which is so popular that all tickets are handed out within minutes of the site opening.
An official of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination answered questions from visitors.
Q: How many reservation tickets are handed out every day, and what is the procedure?
A: We follow a fair and transparent rule to give out tickets. Expo ticket holders are eligible to get one ticket to the China Pavilion each. People entering the site under other qualifications are excluded.
The pavilion will estimate the number of tickets for the next day, and then the tickets will be transferred to entrance and exit administration. They will take charge of giving out tickets on the site. A third supervising party will verify the number of actual visitors coming to the pavilion.
