Lupu Bridge and several roads will be closed for Expo opening rehearsal on April 27 as well as the ceremony on April 30, said Shanghai Public Security Bureau.
Lupu Bridge will be closed from 10 am on April 27 to mid-night for Expo opening rehearsal as well as from 12 am, April 30 to 4 am next morning for Expo opening.
Between 4pm April 30 and early May 1, police will also temporarily close other sections of the roads near the Expo site, including Nanpu Bridge, Yan’an Rd East Tunnel, Yan’an Elevated Rd between Hongjing Rd and Jiangxi Rd, Inner Ring Elevated Rd between Wanping Rd and Guohuo Rd, South-North Elevated Rd between Beijing Rd and Luban Rd Interchange.
