1. Basic Facts

As an exclusive occupational experience project, Abilia will choose 25 virtual occupations with real urban communities, allowing children from 7 to 15 years of age to be educated and inspired through future career prospects. Six 90-minute shows will be displayed daily on Dock 3 within the Puxi section of the Expo site. Through the total 1,104 performances during the Expo, children can experience the joy of growing up, learning about ethics, diligence, team spirit, and responsibility.

Feature 1: Reality

From the children's cognitive perspective, Abilia will design more than 20 professional experience venues to showcase different typical careers. According to the plan, occupational areas will include a media center, newspaper agency, publishing house, design studio, photo studio, power company, water company, bank, police station, fire station, hospital, travel agency, beverage company, dairy company, telecommunications research institute, pharmaceutical company, vehicle maintenance factory, public transport company, restaurant, stationery, clothing store, robot company, food company, security company, farm machinery company and so on.

With a slogan of "Be the master of future cities and experience wonderful life in the future," Abilia will create a realistic simulation experience from the interior decoration, equipment to props and work uniforms. Participating in this experience project, children can choose jobs in which he or she is interested at a "job center," to work as a reporter, doctor, teacher, bank clerk and so on.

Feature 2: Cooperation

Occupational experience provided by Abilia won't simply imitate the working model, instead, it will spotlight the connotation of working. Through the onsite activities, children can be led to understand what labor means. After that, they will get "payment" and feel the satisfaction of working.
