Vehicle plunge kills 9 kids, injures 10 in C China

CHANGSHA - A vehicle taking children to school plunged into a creek in Central China's Hunan province Monday morning, leaving nine children dead, 10 injured and one missing.

The accident happened at 7:30 am in Songjiang township, Hengnan county, said a county education bureau spokesman.

The injured are being treated in hospital.
