BEIJING - North China would brace for temperature drops and snow in the next 24 hours, the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) said Sunday morning.
Some parts of northeast China's Jilin Province would see heavy snowstorms over the next 24 hours, the statement said.
In addition, the CMA forecast south China, including provinces of Guizhou, Jiangxi, Jiangsu and Zhejiang, would be shrouded by mist or fog. The visibility would be reduced to less than 1,000 meters in these areas.
The CMA said local governments should take effective measures to ensure traffic safety amid the thick fog to prevent casualties and financial losses.
