Court orders 10-day detention for Chinese captain

TOKYO -- A local court in Japan's Okinawa Prefecture granted on Friday a request by prosecutors for a 10-day detention through September 19 for the captain of a Chinese trawler which collided with Japanese patrol ships in waters off Diaoyu Islands on Tuesday, according to Kyodo News report.
