China Mobile has opened a donation hotline for Qinghai earthquake victims, reported sina.com.

Qinghai Earthquake

People can dial 0971-12580 and press 5 to donate money or materials through the Red Cross Society of China. By pressing other numbers, dialers can also get information on local weather, trains, airplane tickets and other information.

By on 16:00 p.m. April 15, 760 people had died in the 7.1-magnitude earthquake in Qinghai, 243 were missing and 11,477 injured. Rescue work continues.

More medicines, tents and food supplies are needed. A spokesman from the Qinghai Civil Affairs Bureau said transportation difficulties make it hard for materials to arrive immediately, and that financial support is most wanted.
