Be it a pick of study group leader or a selection of work model, how much do you care about the grass-roots democracy? According to an online poll, China's post-1980s generation is most conscious on people's rights.
The online survey co-conducted last week by China Youth Daily and Internet portal sina.com perused over 3100 netizens on their involvement in democratic elections in their daily life, 47 percent of whom said they support such daily-life votes, the newspaper reported Tuesday.
The survey sorts its demography according to age. Younger people, especially the post-1980s generation, are more liable to defend their rights. Fifty-two percent of the post-1980s youth view the ballot as their basic right, said the newspaper.
The newspaper didn't offer an error margin of its survey nor a detailed demographic description.
