China will stick unswervingly to its reform and opening-up policy and welcomes foreign companies' investments, Premier Wen Jiabao said at a press conference today at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
He said China will increase efforts to attract foreign investments and give high priority to the introduction of advanced foreign technologies and modern management practices.
China also hopes more foreign research and development (R&D) centers will be established in China, so that foreign capital can be utilized more effectively and efficiently, he said.
