China's FDI up 103% to $90b in 2009

BEIJING: The amount of foreign direct investment (FDI) China received rose for the fifth consecutive month in December, up 103 percent year on year to $12.1 billion, said Yao Jian, spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce here on Friday.

This brought the country's FDI to $90.03 billion in 2009, down 2.6 percent from that in 2008.
