Eight workers die in factory

Eight workers have died after fainting while maintaining electric motors in a furnace pit, xinhuanet.com reported.
The staff from the Dalian Special Steel Products Company, a large state-owned enterprise which exports products to 30 countries, collapsed before being taken to hospital where they died Monday.
Officials of relevant departments came to the scene immediately including Xia Deren, the mayor of Dalian. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
