A woman locked herself in an iron cage to escape a brutal attack at the hands of her two pet Tibetan mastiffs in her Beijing courtyard last Saturday.
The woman said the dogs suddenly pounced on her while she was putting food in their bowls.
She locked herself in the iron cage meant for the mastiffs and screamed for help.
The woman's neighbors phoned the police, who brought the dogs under control before rushing the owner to the hospital.
