Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met with Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen Thursday at the sidelines of the UN climate summit in Copenhagen.
Wen praised the efforts made by the Danish government and people on hosting the UN climate change conference.
"There will be more than 100 heads of states joining the summit, which shows that the world leaders attach great importance on dealing with climate change," Wen said during the meeting with Rasmussen.
"I came here with strong sincerity, resolve and determination. And you are the first head of state I am meeting," Wen told Rasmussen.
"We will continue to support the efforts made by the host, and will work closely with all parties in pushing for positive outcomes of the summit," Wen said.
The meeting lasted about half an hour.
