Chinese premier leaves Egypt for home

Updated: 2009-11-09 07:07 SHARM EL-SHEIKH: Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao left for home Sunday night after his visit to Egypt and participation to the opening ceremony of the fourth ministerial meeting of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation in the Egyptian Red Sea resort.
Wen also held bilateral meetings with African leaders on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting. Before attending the meeting, the premier made a two-day official visit to Egypt and met with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Prime Minister Ahmed Nazef. He also visited the headquarters of the Arab League (AL) in Cairo, met with Amr Mussa, head of the AL, and delivered a speech in the AL headquarters, calling the whole world to respect diversity of civilizations. |
