BEIJING: Beijing Health Bureau reported one death related to the A/H1N1 flu today, cnr,cn reported.

According to the Beijing Health Bureau expert board, a 32-year-old Russian male arrived in Beijing on October 28 from Russia and was admitted to Ditan Hospital on November 1 with severe hypoxia and respiratory failure.

The patient’s condition worsened and he died on Monday. The man was infected with the A/H1N1 virus, according to Ditan Hospital.

Seven Chinese have so far died of the A(H1N1) flu on the mainland.
