China reports new death from A(H1N1) flu

CHANGSHA: Central China's Hunan Province reported its first death from the A(H1N1) flu, which was also the seventh case of its kind on the Chinese mainland, health authorities said Monday.

The patient, a 14-year-old middle school student in Changning City, died Saturday after nearly one month of medical treatment failed, the Hunan Provincial Public Health Department said.
