Dog guards diners' bikes outside master's eatery

The owner of a restaurant in Chengdu, capital of China's Sichuan province, has a big black dog that doubles up as a security guard for customers' bikes.

The dog recently chased away a bike thief.

Yang Qiong, the owner of the restaurant, said she got the dog from one of her friends last May.

"On its own, the dog started waiting outside the restaurant, guarding customers' bikes," she said.
