Student poses as police officer to get girls, cash

A court in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province, sentenced a college student to one year behind bars for pretending to be a police officer in an attempt to cheat two women last April.

The student, surnamed Han, 25, took on the alias of a policeman named Han Bin in April, 2008 while dating two women surnamed Chen and Yang.

Han received 8,700 yuan ($1,274) from Chen and 1,100 yuan and a cell phone from Yang.
