(Xinhua)
Updated: 2009-08-28 21:03 BEIJING: China is to carry out a review of dumping of chloroprene rubber imported from Japan, the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said Friday. Chloroprene rubber is commonly known as Neoprene, the name given to it by Du Pont.
China imposed temporary anti-dumping measures on imported chloroprene rubber from Japan, the United States and the European Union on December 1, 2004, and officially initiated measures on May 10, 2005, to expire after five years. Chloroprene rubber is mainly used in producing housing for electrical wiring and cables, rubber tubing and as a raw material for waterproofing products. The review is scheduled to be completed in 12 months. |
