President Hu accepts credentials from 7 ambassadors

BEIJING: Chinese President Hu Jintao accepted here Friday credentials presented respectively by ambassadors to China from Samoa, Kyrgyzstan, Canada, Peru, Vanuatu, India and the United States.

Samoan ambassador Tapusalaia Terry Toomata is the country's first ambassador to China.

The other six new ambassadors include: Zheenbek Kulubaev from Kyrgyzstan, David Mulroney from Canada, Harold Forsyth Mejia from Peru, Willie Tapangararua Jimmy from Vanuatu, Subramanyam Jaishankar from India and Jon Meade Huntsman from the United States.
