Traffic accident kills 6 Chinese workers in Algeria

ALGIERS: Six Chinese workers with the CITIC-CRCC group company died from a traffic accident in Algeria on Tuesday night, and four others were injured, said a source with the company.

The source said that the four wounded workers include one who was severely injured and another three who were slightly injured.

A shuttle bus which was carrying 10 Chinese workers on their way home in Zenadnia, an area in the country's northwestern Chlef province, was hit by a tank truck.

The company, which is building up the East-West expressway for Algeria, has quite a number of Chinese workers.
